Toyin Lawani awards Scholarship

The I Rep for hope foundation started in 2013, a foundation created by Toyin Lawani, the CEO of Tiannah's Place Empire who runs 20 businesses. Loosing her mum to thyroid cancer, Toyin decided to reach out to as many people as possible, thereby bringing hope to those who think all hope is lost, not everyone was born with a silver spoon and we get blessed when the right people see our potentials and help us build them.

 The I Rep for hope foundation started with her helping visually impaired kids with clothing and shelter. Gladys and Marcelyn were the third project Toyin took on. They both have hearing and speaking disabilities however scholarship was given to both of them by the foundation.
Gladys is now a paid Seamstress at Elegante by Tiannah Styling while mercelyn is a paid hair stylist at Tiannah's salon. Both of them now very good at what they do can now feed their kids and educate them properly.

Due to the large number of people who can't afford the tuition fee at the fashion school and the large number of letters and emails received concerning the scholarship. The foundation has decided to give out two more scholarships to financially incapable and physically challenged people, aspiring to be designers, stylists or want to set up their own business.

An exam/interview will be scheduled on October 26th. Interested candidates would be supervised by professional teachers at the fashion school. Winners will be announced and scholarships will be awarded accordingly. Remember, when you give back the world is yours.
