Dr Zainab Shinkafi Bagudu has just arrived Sokoto in preparation for the burial rites according to Islamic tradition of her father, late Alh. Umar Shinkafi which would be held at the Sultan Bello Mosque in Sokoto, immediately after the juma'at prayers.

Late Shinkafi, who holds the traditional title of Marafan Sokoto, died at the Harefiel Hospital, Hill End Road, Harefield, Middlesex, UK on Wednesday after a prolonged illness. He was aged 79.

In hand to receive her were the commissioner for women affairs ( Hajiya Kulu Sifawa , DG SOSMEDA ( Haj Aishat HASSAN ) APC state female elders led by Hajiya Laraba Dattijo , Haj. Fatima ILO and others , Aisha Maina ( social media to the governor ) Asmau Shagari ( S.A to Hajiya Mairo Aminu Tambuwal and other women folks.
