Ex Ondo state Attorney General, Eyitayo Jegede emerges PDP's governorship flagbearer for the state election

Former Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Ondo state, Eyitayo Jegede, has emerged the PDP candidate for the Ondo State governorship election. Jegede scored 760 votes to beat his opponent, Saka Lawal who pulled only 22 votes. Jegede resigned his appointment as Attorney General on July 22nd to pursue his governorship ambition. The governorship election will hold November 26th.
