Lucid Lemons Presents ‘The Lemon Curd'
Lucid Lemons is an online platform for like minded young adults to come together and talk about issues that are important to the younger and future generations ahead. To let their creative work do the talking and to meet other like minded individuals that might help them progress as they grow.
On the 6th of August 2016, ‘The Lemon Curd’ is to be held at Muri Okunola Park VI. It is an open mic/jam session featuring stalls rented to young Nigerian entrepreneurs and fun activities to entertain attendees.
With the aim of bringing people with common interests together, we believe this may lead to collaborations that will help our communities thrive. Check out more information on thelemoncurd.splashthat.com .
Of Lucid Lemon’s recent success, we held our first sold out event RADAR - Raising Awareness for Domestic Abuse and Rape in December 2015. It was aimed at discussing the incredibly alarming rates of abuse and rape in Nigeria. At the event, last year representatives from the Mirabel Centre, Stand to End Rape Initiative and other special guests spoke to the audience on understanding the seriousness of the issue and how we can help as a community.
Lucid Lemons was founded in 2015 by Tomisin Akinwunmi, and has since been involved in many social projects and initiatives including the production of the ‘NEXT OF KIN’ show at the British Council during the Lagos Theatre Festival last year. Visit our website at lucidlemons.com.
